Choosing the Right Lemon Plant
Go for grafted dwarf lemon varieties if growing in pots. Select a healthy nursery plant with glossy green leaves and no yellowing. Lemon is hardy and grows well in most parts of India.

Needs well-draining sandy loam soil with organic matter. Mix garden soil + compost + sand (2:1:1). Pot size: 14–18 inches deep for potted lemons.
